Perfect color and stripe replication, ordered and received several weeks later as this tartan had to be a special order as at that time was not in inventory stock , but when delivered with matching accessories the color size and fit were all a perfect and precise match. The kilt itself is regular 24 inches and is a true 8 yards. It is acrylic material and therefore should be damp water only sponge cleaned as dry cleaning is likely to result in either ironing damage or pins clips or staples damage? Absolutely no machine washing or machine drying. A trusted dry cleaner given correct cleaning and care instructions may be risked on infrequent occasion? These kilts can be bought at a fraction of the cost of pure wool and will not be attacked by clothes moths and most other insects , These kilts will melt and or burn very easily as acrylic is a form of similar to plastic man made fabric! Avoid all heat sources especially hot irons. The 24 rear pleats protected with zero color cotton on top may be carefully hand ironed with warm not hot non steam iron. Great care is required when so ironing ! Highly recommend these kilts ,and with true proper care should last for many years if not in daily use!
